Eiffel Tower Games

Last week we had fun learning all about the Eiffel Tower. Did you know that it is almost 1,000 feet tall? The Eiffel Tower has two restaurants inside and even an ice skating rink in the winter! After painting our own Eiffel Tower (pictures to come soon), we had a little fun playing a few of these games.

Bonjour!  Indi has been to France!  Over the next couple of weeks, we will discover much about this beautiful country!  Au revoir!

On the move again!

During the past few weeks while the class has been studying Norway, Indi has been on the move around the world! Here are just a few of the postcards we have received! It appears that Indi has spent a little time in Belgium, Canada, Mexico, and England. Where will he land next? Stay tuned to find out!

Indi's Challenge:  What is a fjord?  Look at this postcard of a fjord.  What do you see, think, or wonder?  Write down your ideas about what you think a fjord is.  Don't get any help!  Indi wants to know what you think!  Turn in your paper for a happygram!

Indi visits Norway!

International Indi has been busy traveling the world!  He finally settled for a few days in Norway.  We received this postcard featuring trolls and lingonberries!  The postcard caused quite a reaction in the classroom.  Do trolls live in Norway?  The boys had fun tasting lingonberry jam!
